Gotham Radio Theatre's unique brand radio style of entertainment is the ideal complement to a any conference, expo, corporate event or social gathering. Inspired by the Lux Radio Theatre of the 1930's and 40's. Gotham Radio Theatre brings you the experience of actors performing as fictional 40's stars of stage and screen in vintage radio style. It's a show within a show! Much like the radio hour serials of a bygone era, our shows are performed in a little more than 60 minutes, with live sound, music and actors playing multiple roles.

The Awful Truth introduces us to married couple Jerry and Lucy Warriner, who file for divorce quickly after doubting each other's fidelity. Soon regretting their hasty actions, they both do their best to ruin each other's plans for remarriage, as they race against the clock to reunite. Gotham's rendition of this clever, madcap comedy is the perfect highlight at your corporate or social event!

THE CASE OF THE SPECKLED BAND: 21 Baker street, 7:00am, April 1883 - Mrs. Hudson is awaken by a young woman, Helen Stoner, ringing the bell. By midday Holmes and Watson are on the train to Surrey with great urgency to help Miss Stoner discover the cause of her twin sister's death - two years ago... the reason for the urgency is that Miss Stoner now fears her life will end the same way. Her sister's dying words were "Oh my God, Helen! It was the band - the speckled band!" Can Holmes discover the meaning of those words on time to save Helen?

A wager is placed and gentleman, Phileas Fog, sets out to prove the latter as the world tries to find the gentleman bank robber. Rescue a Princess in India! Be attacked by fierce prairie Indians! Sail a burning Atlantic paddle-wheeler! All this and more as Fogg tries to win his wager.
We are currently on a worldwide search for our stellar cast. Movie stars, broadway veterans and radio personalities are all auditioning for the starring role.

Let Gotham bring the gift of laughter to your company party or holiday gathering as Rudolph, Hermie, Yukon and all the merry 'misfits' investigate the real meaning of Christmas spirit. Bumble's not just a name for monsters in this delightful satire!
Private Performance Fees
$2700 per performance. (A single performance of one of our selections. Fee for Non-Profits can be negotiated.) If you are interested in multiple shows or performances, please contact us for a quote. Our fee includes actor travel (within NYC area), set up, break down and performance. If performing outside the New York City area, travel expenses will be an additional charge.
Required:
A performance space of 10 X 17 feet and seating for guests. (We are a self contained unit and bring our own sound equipment, old fashioned microphones, applause and on air signs.)
Two electrical outlets for sound equipment.
