Scott Klavan*...(aka Smokey Adams) As Ellery Queen
Recently, Scott appeared in the NY Off-Broadway premiere of the musical of Sayonara, based on the James Michener book/film, for Pan Asian Rep. Previously, Scott performed on Broadway in Irena’s Vow, with Tovah Feldshuh, reprising his role as Roman from the Off-Broadway run. In 2014-15, he was featured in the new Web series, Small Miracles, alongside Judd Hirsch; for his work, he was nominated as Outstanding Lead Actor at the LA Web Fest. He shot the title role and did narration for Mechanic to Millionaire: The Peter Cooper Story, a docu-drama for PBS.
Other Off-Broadway: Scott played five roles in the stage version of the film hit The Joy Luck Club, Pan Asian Rep. Endpapers, directed by Pamela Berlin, produced by Benjamin Mordecai; Combustion at BAM. Regionally, Scott has performed at Studio Arena Theatre, Buffalo, NY; Studio Theatre, Washington, D.C; the Egg, Albany, NY; others. On television he has been seen on The Onion News Network; Picket Fences, As the World Turns, CBS. He has done Voice-Overs for programs including PBS’ The American Experience and Wide Angle. Scott wrote and appeared in P.O., a play for the 2010 NY International Fringe Festival. He wrote and appeared in The Double Murder Plays, a group of one-acts, for the 2007 Fringe Festival. One of the pieces, Double Murder, was published in Best American Short Plays of 2006-7, by Applause Books. Scott recently directed the premiere of the solo play My Stubborn Tongue, written and performed by Anna Fishbeyn, at New Ohio Theatre, and United Solo festival. He is a Lifetime Member of The Actors Studio.

Vince Trani* is glad to be back at GRT where he has appeared in Redheads and Bohemians, Sorry, Wrong Number, Hound of the Baskervilles, Idiots’ Delight and No Time For Sergeants and Rudolph’s Tale. Vince was in the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera's revival of Kismet and sang Faust in the First National Tour of Ken Hill's Phantom of the Opera. He played Sancho Panza in twelve productions of Man of La Mancha and has worked at the Paper Mill Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera House, Cincinnati Playhouse, for Disney Entertainment Productions and the New York Shakespeare Theatre. Vince is a founding member of the Project Rushmore Theatre Company, where he appeared as Al Lewis in The Sunshine Boys, The Fool in King Lear and Creon in Medea.

Martin McGeachy can’t make up his mind what he wants to be when he grows up. By day (and lots of nights too), Martin is the pastor of Gilead Presbyterian Church in Carmel, New York. By night (and the occasional matinee), Martin is an actor and playwright with credits from theatres all across the country, from New York City to Stamps, Arkansas. Bob Ader*...(aka Otto Schmearcase) as a Surprise Detective
Bob began his professional career at the age of six appearing in a television episode of THE NAKED CITY. After that, he made his professional stage debut in John Patrick’s JUNIPER AND THE PAGANS which was produced by David Merrick and starred David Wayne. His Broadway debut took place the following year, in the Pulitzer Prize and Drama Critic Circle Award winning play.,ALL THE WAY HOME with Colleen Dewhurst, Lillian Gish, and Arthur Hill. After that, he appeared opposite Mike Nichols in A MATTER OF POSITION. During the mid 1960s, he made numerous television appearances on such programs as CAR 54, THE DEFENDERS, HULLABALLOO, and THE STEVE LAWRENCE SHOW. Stage appearances during this period included OLIVER, starring Jules Munshin and THE KING AND I, starring Darren McGavin and Rise Stevens, which was produced by the legendary composer, Richard Rodgers and was the first Broadway musical production at Lincoln Center Following that, he appeared with Judy Garland and her children, Lorna and Joey, in a special performance at the Felt Forum at Madison Square Garden. After graduating from Hunter College, he appeared opposite James Rado in RAINBOW (the sequel to HAIR). He has also appeared Off Broadway and in Regional, Stock, and Dinner Theatres in such shows as MINNIE’S BOYS, WHEN YOU COMIN’BACK RED RYDER, A DAY IN HOLLYWOOD/A NIGHT IN THE UKRAINE, THE NERD, JAYSON, THE TIN PAN ALLEY RAG, OLYMPUS ON MY MIND, GROUCHO, A LFE IN REVIEW, and many others. On Television, you may have seen him in a leading role on NBC’s UNSOLVED MYSTERIES where he played a Hasidic Rabbi wanted for international bank fraud. Also, He’s also been featured on such shows as SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN, CONAN O’BRIEN, ONE LIFE TO LIVE, THE GUIDING LIGHT, and has also been featured twice on NBC’s hit series LAW & ORDER with another appearance on LAW& ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT. He has also worked on such films as IT’S COMPLICATED, WHEN HARRY MET SALLY, and GET SHORTY, Bob is also a playwright and has had two plays produced Off Broadway He has done character voices on numerous recordings, and debuted his one man show, FIFTY YEARS IN THE BUSINESS (directed by Sydnie Grosberg and Marilyn Spanier) as a fund raiser for Project Rushmore Theatre Company of which he is a proud member. Bob recently returned from Vienna Austria where he performed in a concert version of the Dram aDesk nominated show, The Golden Land.

Nyssa Duchow as Lucille Cherry
Nyssa is thrilled to return to the Lincoln Center Library with her friends of Gotham! A proud graduate of the Webster Conservatory for Theater Arts, Nyssa has been working almost non-stop as an actor/musician. Regional credits include Almost Heaven (Great Plains Theater), Cotton Patch Gospel (Arrowrock Lyceum), and the music of Johnny Cash in Ring of Fire at multiple theaters. Next up Nyssa will be hitting the road as the fiddle playing Ex-Girlfriend in the NETworks tour of the Tony award winning show, Once.

Jacob Thomas Carr... (aka Donald J. Bixby)
A classically trained pianist since age five, Jacob has had extensive collaborations with singers and actors for over a decade. He music directed numerous productions in the Houston Metroplex, including Smokey Joe’s Cafe, The Light in the Piazza, and Jesus Christ Superstar (featuring Ben Vereen). He held an adjunct faculty position at Sam Houston State University, where he taught private voice lessons and was the music director for several departmental productions including Bare: A Pop Opera, Spring Awakening, and Hair. At Wildfish Children’s Theatre he was on staff as a music director and teaching artist, and and was active as a singing coach for professional and college auditions. He holds a B.M. in Music Theory and Composition with an emphasis in Voice from Sam Houston State University, and is certified in Level III Somatic Voicework The Lovetri Method. Currently, he is a full time student at The William Esper Studio, a Meisner based actor training program. Additionally, he works in New York as a pianist and singing coach, and hopes to also pursue a career in acting after graduation.

Sydnie is co-founder of Max & Louie Productions, and directed their critically acclaimed productions of he Violet Hour, It Had to Be You and The Lady With All the Answers. As Associate Artistic Director of The Phoenix Theatre Company, she directed Boy Meets Girl, Alone At The Beach, and The Nerd. Ms. Grosberg Ronga directed Branislav Tomich’s one-man plays; Blue Lanterns which had a highly successful run in New York fall '09, and Café God which played in NYC, St. Louis and won a Drama Logue Award in Los Angeles. Sydnie has worked with Manhattan Class Company and The Women’s Project. An acting teacher and coach, Sydnie was born in St. Louis. She is a graduate of Webster University.
